The Campaign for the Defense of Political Prisoners of Iranian Nationalities

http://www.kampeeyn.blogspot.com/
The present Iranian human rights organizations have not been able to identify, register and defend all political prisoners of Iran.  This is because of some prejudices against the Iranian religious minorities or Iranian nationalities.  While we appreciate the efforts of many of these organizations for collecting some information about some victims of Iranian regime, we strive to do our best to collect information about different political prisoners with different racial and regional backgrounds and defending them with whatever means that we can find.
There is no doubt that many Iranian human rights activists ignored the plight of many political prisoners and political activists in Baluchistan, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Ahwaz, and other regions.  Many international organizations which wanted to conduct research on the plight of political prisoners did not receive sufficient information about the nationalities' and minority political prisoners.  Whenever the main human rights organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch published their reports, there was not sufficient information in their reports about the political prisoners of minorities and nationalities.
Consequently, a large number of political prisoners and those who were executed and persecuted for political reasons never were mentioned in their reports.  The issue of discrimination against religious minorities and nationalities is so much institutionalized in the mind and culture of ruling classes and communities  ...
that they even deliberately discriminated against the political prisoners which did not belong to their communities or to their political parties. As a result, a large number of Baloch, Kurdish, Turkish, and Arab religious and political activists were disappointed from the mainstream human rights organizations which   deliberately ignored their plight.
The Campaign for the Defense of Political Prisoners of Iranian Nationalities has been formed to meet these demands and fill the gap which has been ignored for such a long time.  We highly recommend the inclusion of all Iranians who get persecuted for their beliefs or for defending their legitimate rights in all reports.
Our mission statement
We are striving to defend all religious and political prisoners of Iran from all nationalities, religions and regions and support them in whatever way we can through legal means.
We wish to achieve these goals through:
1.  Identifying all political prisoners of Iran
2. Registering their names and details
3. Collecting information about them without prejudice
4. Processing information and passing them to international human rights organizations
5. Holding an archive and the list of the political prisoners according to their religion and nationalities
6. Launching defense campaigns for their release
7.  Contacting international organizations for their support
8.  Participating in different international conferences
9. Conducting interviews and press conferences
We have already set up a weblog and listed the names of political prisoners and those who have been executed for political, religious and racial reasons.  We would like to invite all human rights organizations and human rights activists to look at this blog for information about political prisoners.  We welcome also the suggestions from all human rights activists and organizations for improving the service we provide.  It must be kept in mind that our organization is a voluntary organization and does not receive any funds from any source.  We are a group of volunteers who work very hard to facilitate the flow of information about political prisoners in Iran to international human rights organizations.
We also welcome co-operation and collaboration between our organization and your organization.
We would like to urge you to invite us to any conference which is dealing with violations of human rights in Iran. Your support will encourage us to work with more enthusiasm.
With the best wishes
